Joe Mandle at Crooked Timber has posted an excellent summary of a recent conference at the Kennedy School on global equality. The summary of presentations and discussions are wide ranging, and the conference participants represent some of the biggest stars in American social science. Issues discussed include the role of international institutions to creating and maintaining altruism, migration and equality, and the normative foundations of international equality. Joe has done a great job of summing up the discussions. He also points to a number of conference papers here.
