I never seem to be able to put regular blog posts together (I guess that is what Twitter is for). I’ve been travelling far to much the past few months, including:
- In Canada in October for the CCSEAS annual conference
- Three weeks in Thanh Hoa doing interviews for my dissertation research on bamboo value chains (in collaboration with PI).
- Houaphanh, Lao, to check out bamboo commercialization there
- Attapeu, Lao and Dak Nong, Vietnam for some work with IFAD.
I’m looking forward to spending a few days at home with the family, and then some time going through interview transcripts and notes for my dissertation. Writing up begins in mid-January.
